Ukraine slams X for labeling Russian war crimes as “shocking content”

“For real, X? Since when is the number of Ukrainian kids killed by Russia considered "graphic content?" This isn’t preventing users from exposure to graphic content. This is sweeping Russian war crimes under the rug,”Tykhyi wrote.

He called on the platform's administration, in particular the security and global policy departments, to lift such restrictions.

The diplomat called such principles of the social network shameful and stated that this decision should be reversed.

It is worth noting that in social media, “shocking content” refers to visually explicit or detailed material that often depicts violent, abusive, sexual or other disturbing scenes.
