Ukraine secures $3.9 billion grant from US: breakdown
On Tuesday, July 23, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a $3.9 billion grant from the United States

The grant, totaling $3.9 billion from the United States, will be funneled through World Bank structures. The funds are expected to arrive shortly.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the funds will be allocated for the salaries of rescue workers, teachers, and doctors, as well as for social support programs.
Shmyhal also mentioned that after prolonged negotiations, Ukraine has reached an agreement with creditors to restructure its foreign debt.
"Thanks to these agreements, Ukraine will save $11.4 billion in payments over the next three years. I am grateful to the Ministry of Finance team for this crucial work," the Prime Minister stated.
- The EU will transfer the first tranche of 1.4 billion euros from frozen Russian assets for purchasing weapons for Ukraine in early August.
