Ukraine reports 172 clashes at frontline, repels 64 attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

Over the past day, Ukraine's aviation, missile forces and artillery struck three Russian manpower concentrations, one weapons and military equipment storage facility, and a Russian command post.

Russian forces launched one missile strike and 53 air strikes, used two missiles, and dropped 105 guided bombs. In addition, they launched 4,970 artillery attacks, including 122 with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and deployed 5,995 “kamikaze” drones.

Russia also launched airstrikes on 5 settlements in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

Frontline situation

In the Sumy and Kursk sectors, 12 battles took place over the past day.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops attempted 11 times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk, Odradne, and Zapadne.

In the Kupiansk sector, five Russian attacks occurred yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled the Russian assaults near Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces carried out 15 attacks, attempting to break through Ukraine’s defenses near Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Serednie, Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Torske, and Shandryholove.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped three Russian attempts to advance in the areas of Dronivka and Yampil over the past day.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three combat clashes occurred near Kostiantynivka and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops carried out 17 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Sofiivka, Katerynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 64 Russian assaults near Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Nove Shakhove, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Rodynske, Mykolaivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Shevchenko, Dachne, and toward Novoukrainka and Filiia.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops carried out 33 attacks near Novokhatske, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Ternove, Novoheorhiivka, Piddubne, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, Novoivanivka, and toward Uspenivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks near Poltavka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack near Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive actions.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.
