Ukraine reports 113 clashes at front on Feb. 13, repels 38 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m. on February 14.

"According to updated information, yesterday Russian forces launched two missile strikes using five missiles and 89 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 133 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians fired about six thousand times, including 130 times from multiple launch rocket systems," the statement says.

The General Staff added that yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 13 Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas; two UAV control points, an air defense system, eight missile and artillery systems, an ammunition depot, an electronic warfare system, and another important Russian target.

Frontline situation

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled assault actions near Holubivka and Zahryzove, where four Russian attacks occurred during the day.

In the Lyman sector, the Russians launched seven attacks attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses near Hrekivka, Novolyubivka, Yampolivka, and Kolodiazі.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders launched five attacks near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces carried out fourteen attacks near Toretsk, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 38 Russian attacks near Sukha Balka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian attacks. Russian occupiers were most active near Zelenivka and in the direction of Burlatske.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled an attack near Novosilka.

In the Kursk region, 23 combat engagements occurred yesterday. The Russians launched 51 airstrikes and one missile attack, using four missiles and 77 guided bombs, and carried out over 500 artillery shellings.

In the Kharkiv, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskyi sectors, Russian forces did not conduct active offensive operations.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

  • Over the past day, the invading Russian army lost 1,200 troops in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 81 artillery systems and 17 tanks.
