Ukraine launches mass production of long-range attack drones
Ukraine has launched mass production of its own long-range attack drones. They are currently striking enemy strategic targets at a distance of over 1000 km
Herman Smetanin, Director General of Ukroboronprom defense company, said in an interview with ArmyInform.
Herman Smetanin reminded that Ukraine has already successfully launched mass production of FPV drones.
"Our enterprises have made a significant contribution, as they have established close cooperation with private companies and helped them scale up production," said the Director General of Ukroboronprom.
He also added that the enemy should not be underestimated, especially "such a powerful one as Russia".
"We have become more non-linear and innovative. Russia has enormous resources and a powerful industry, so it makes no sense to blindly copy its approach. We have to be more flexible and inventive. David once realized that fighting Goliath with Goliath's methods was a bad idea. As a result, he chose the weapon that could bring victory and skillfully used it," Smetanin added.
- Last week, dozens of drones flew over Russia, a number of attacks on oil refineries took place and loud explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Sevastopol.
