Ukraine is not asking for too much: Zelenskyy on army needs for victory

On Wednesday, April 10, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine would not be able to win with "deficits”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his address to the Delphi Economic Forum.

"Ukraine is not asking for too much. We need air defense systems and combat aircraft that can protect our cities from Russian terror. A few dozen systems and a sufficient number of modern fighter jets will solve the problem of Russian aircraft and bombs. We need artillery to push back the front and return normal life to the land occupied by Russia. And we need justice — the kind of pressure on Russia that will prevent Putin from increasing his military potential: ever-increasing sanctions against Russia, confiscation of Putin's assets and zero tolerance for Russian disinformation," the president said in a statement.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine's needs are absolutely realistic.

"And it depends only on the political will of our partners. Putin can only fill the deficit of the world's decisions with his aggression. A deficit that is too long. It is possible to win this war. But victory is not won by deficits," the President of Ukraine said.

The Delphi Economic Forum is attended by the presidents of Greece, Montenegro and Slovenia, as well as representatives of the political and expert communities of many countries.
