Ukraine has 500 defense enterprises employing almost 300,000 people - Zelenskyy

He emphasized that this is a professional day for all those who organize, design and build the Ukrainian force.

"There are currently 500 enterprises of the defense industry in Ukraine. Almost 300 thousand people are involved in this production. And all this is really one of the main foundations of our independence. The events of the war prove this," the president said.

Zelenskyy said that with the help of naval drones created by Ukrainians, Ukrainian defenders are clearing the Black Sea of Russian terrorist influence.

"Thanks to Ukrainian developments, Putin's system feels that aggression really has a price," he stressed.

Ukrainian Stugna, Ukrainian armour, Ukrainian FPV drones are no longer something unusual, Zelenskyy said.

"I am proud of all our people and enterprises that are making modern Ukrainian artillery commonplace - we need modern calibers, we need modern guns. I thank everyone who works for this!" - the President summed up.
