Ukraine’s intelligence destroys Russia’s latest Repeynik anti-drone radar
Ukraine develops HIMARS-like systems and long-range missiles – WP
Ukraine is already manufacturing its own versions of the American HIMARS system, along with long-range missiles capable of striking targets over 600 kilometers away
This is according to The Washington Post.
Citing Ukrainian officials, the publication highlights comments made by Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, who disclosed last month that Ukraine has deployed domestically-produced missiles with a range exceeding 400 miles (640 km). However, he did not specify the exact type of weaponry.
Additionally, unnamed officials informed The Washington Post that Ukraine is actively working on developing missile systems akin to the US HIMARS and precision-guided missiles.
Despite these advancements, Ukraine still lacks the capability to produce high-tech systems. Maksym Polyvianyi, Deputy General Director of Ukrainian Armor, stated that establishing such production would require "decades."
- In late February, Minister Oleksandr Kamyshin announced that Ukraine has surpassed Russia in producing kamikaze drones this year, similar to Iran's Shahed-131 and Shahed-136.
