The Main Intelligence Directorate reported the information.
Both aircraft were disabled during a special operation carried out by a representative of the resistance movement against the Russian regime. The estimated value of the destroyed fighters could reach up to $100 million.
The Su-27 and Su-30, with tail numbers '12' and '82,' were destroyed thanks to meticulous preparation—the planning of the operation took two weeks.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, during the preparation phase, specialists conducted a detailed analysis of patrol routes and guard shift schedules, which allowed them to covertly infiltrate the airfield territory, strike the aircraft in a protective hangar, and leave the site without obstruction.
