
Ukraine confirms strike on Russia's Tambov Powder Plant

"As part of reducing the enemy's ability to manufacture explosives and use ammunition, on the night of June 11, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a number of important facilities of the Russian aggressor. Damage to the facilities of the FKP Tambov Powder Plant and burning on its territory were recorded," the statement said.
The General Staff noted that this enterprise is one of the main facilities of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, where powders are produced for various types of small arms, artillery and rocket systems, as well as colloxylin, which is used in the creation of various explosives.
In addition, the General Staff reported explosions in the areas of the ammunition depot of the 106th Airborne Division in the Kursk region and the Buturlinovka airfield depot in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko, wrote about the damage to the plant.
"The Tambov Powder Plant of the Russian Federation has been attacked not for the first time. Now it is pausing its work. It is one of the key facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is involved in the war against Ukraine," the message reads.
According to him, the company is one of the main suppliers of explosive materials for the Russian army. With the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, production at the plant has increased significantly.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged destruction of 32 drones.
