UK ready to deploy troops and aircraft to Ukraine in support of potential peace deal – Starmer
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the country is ready to send troops to Ukraine for a peacekeeping mission

He said this at a briefing with US President Donald Trump.
The Prime Minister stated that the UK was taking on greater responsibility for security and was working closely with other European leaders on this matter. He emphasized that the UK was prepared to send troops and aircraft to support the agreement, in coordination with its allies, as he believed this was the only way to ensure lasting peace.
He added that 18 countries are already involved in the process of discussing a possible peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
Starmer concluded that the United Kingdom would play a full role in ensuring the agreement if it were reached. He expressed hope that a peace deal for Ukraine would be achieved and emphasized that it must be upheld.
