UK intelligence analyzes impact of Ukraine's attack on Russia's Khalino airfield
On August 14, the Ukrainian military attacked the Khalino military airfield in Russia's Kursk region, hitting a Mig-29 fighter jet and an Orion drone

The UK Defense Ministry reports.
For example, satellite images from August 14 showed that Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian Orion drone and hit a MiG-29 fighter jet at the Khalino airfield.
Introduced by the Russian military in 2020, the Orion is a long-range, medium-altitude UAV. It is mainly used as a reconnaissance and surveillance platform, although it can be equipped with guided munitions.
