According to the British Foreign Office, he plans to announce this at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
Cameron will emphasize the need to continue supporting Ukraine, which, he says, is today closer to NATO than ever before.
“Lord Cameron will underline the need to sustain support for Ukraine, which is closer to NATO than ever. He will encourage NATO Allies to sign up to British-led initiatives to buy NATO standard missiles and munitions for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the British Foreign Office said in a statement.
As noted, all Alliance members agree that Ukraine will join NATO, and the United Kingdom will continue working to ensure that Ukraine continues to take significant steps towards membership in the Alliance.
“We must sustain the critical support Ukraine needs to win the war. Allies need to step up and spend more on defence in the face of continued Russian aggression and a more dangerous world,” Cameron says.
