The ongoing technological race involves frequent upgrades to drone systems. Evolve Dynamics alone has made 85 upgrades to its Sky Mantis drones in the past two-and-a-half years. Britain, a key ally of Ukraine, leads European efforts to increase drone production, collaborating with countries like Latvia.

Ukraine, fostering domestic military startups, aims for self-sufficiency in drone production, with around 200 drone manufacturers in the country. Evolve Dynamics directly supports Ukrainian military units by providing parts and software updates, enabling quick adaptations to drone technology based on frontline needs.

The rapid pace of technological innovation necessitates close communication between defense companies and soldiers, a trend that could reshape military procurement and training. Evolve Dynamics recently responded to a Ukrainian military unit's request for safety modifications, highlighting the agility needed in modern warfare.

Evolve Dynamics, which has supplied drones to Britain's Royal Navy and various other sectors, hopes to secure more contracts as Britain commits significant funding to support Ukraine's drone capabilities.
