This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defence.
It is noted that the Russian forces do not abandon their attempts to advance in the Donetsk region. Thus, at the end of March, Russian enemy allegedly occupied two villages - Tonenke and Orlivka - and fighting continues there.
“Russia has continued attacks along several other points on the front line, but has made little progress in recent weeks," the intelligence service said.
According to the UK, Russia maintains a significant advantage in the conflict, outnumbering Ukraine in terms of ammunition and equipment. It is likely to mobilise around 30,000 additional troops every month and is likely to continue to "absorb losses and continue attacks aimed at wearing down Ukrainian forces".
- Over the last day, there were 72 clashes between Ukrainian and Russian troops. Ukrainian defence forces managed to repel a number of enemy attacks on six frontlines and eliminate another 730 Russian soldiers.
