Ukraine denies reports of Black Sea talks with Russia in Turkey
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has announced that a meeting of Russian and Ukrainian delegations will be held in Ankara on April 15-16 to discuss security issues in the Black Sea

This is reported by the Turkish service of CNN, citing its own sources in the defense ministry.
According to the report, the meeting will supposedly be held at the Turkish Naval Headquarters in Ankara.
During the talks, the parties will discuss security issues in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian side’s response
In turn, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, denied any preparations for such a meeting on the evening of April 13.
Speaking to Alla Mazur, host of the program TSN.Week on the 1+1 TV channel, Sybiha dismissed the reports.
"Nothing of the sort was planned," the host quoted the Foreign Minister as saying.
- On April 11, U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff arrived in Russia. In St. Petersburg, he held a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin that lasted more than 4 hours. At the same time, the White House called it a “step toward a ceasefire” in Ukraine.
