Easter ceasefire: is it on table?

The diplomatic hustle indicates that the likelihood of such a ceasefire is very high.

"Trump is awaiting Putin's response regarding a ceasefire this week. That is how he explained the situation with the war in Ukraine during his meeting with Meloni."

At the same time, Trump appears suspiciously confident and relaxed. It is likely that he already knows Putin’s answer. The latter will agree.

In parallel, a track has opened in Paris between the U.S., France, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine regarding the monitoring of the ceasefire.

The U.S.-European-Ukrainian format is represented by French President Macron, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump’s special advisor Witkoff, French Foreign Minister Barrot, Macron’s diplomatic advisor Bonne, and British Prime Minister’s national security advisor Powell.
