The U.S. Tomahawk launchers are mostly sea-based—the ground-based ones can be counted on one hand, and they're in South Korea and the Philippines

Ukrainian Armed Forces Reserve Major General Serhii Kryvonos expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.

"Regarding the provision of Tomahawks, what would we launch them from? This is an information provocation that, first and foremost, removes responsibility from our leaders who say: 'We weren't given Tomahawks, so we can't win.' Second, those Tomahawk missiles that the U.S. has are predominantly sea-based. From where, from which sea would we launch them? And those ground-based Tomahawk launchers that exist are only in South Korea and the Philippines, and you can count them on your fingers. Everything else is sea-based. So the stories about Tomahawks are about nothing," Serhii Kryvonos commented.

According to him, if Tomahawks were successful, produced results, and were ground-based systems, then after the end of the Cold War there should be at least 500 such missiles.

"The issue isn't the Tomahawk; once again we're being fed the 'candy' of a wonder weapon. We've already heard this about Leopards, Abrams, F-16s. The Tomahawk question is information manipulation that Ukrainian and world societies are falling for. In reality, the most powerful weapon of the U.S. is to strengthen cooperation, as Ronald Reagan (40th President of the U.S. - ed.) once did, to drive down oil prices. Russia was hysterical when the price of oil fell below $25, but now it has risen again to $52. President Trump is profiting from this, not the U.S., because the country has clearly shown that its position, the position of the American political establishment, does not align with Trump's position—this must also be understood. A huge number of senators, both Republicans and Democrats, have a different point of view and have quite seriously limited President Trump in his dreams of cooperation with Russia," the general concluded.

  • American preacher and spiritual diplomat Mark Burns stated that Ukraine should receive Tomahawk missiles if Putin refuses peace.
