They mean surrender: political scientist Shlinchak on international statements about Ukraine -Russia peace talks
Victor Shlinchak, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of World Policy, has observed Russia's attempts to set the world on a collision course. While there are diplomatic overtures towards peace talks, there's also a clear agenda to exert pressure for Ukraine's surrender
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"I have logical associations that Russia is now using the entire agent network that it can attract. Russia is trying to put the world on a collision course, when on the one hand there are words about peace talks, and on the other hand there is a clear understanding that it is necessary to push for Ukraine's surrender. The Kremlin is resorting to such a special operation because for the general population, when they hear words about peace, negotiations that Russia allegedly wants to conduct, they are imprinted with the cessation of hostilities, their financing, and, accordingly, a return to the peaceful life that existed two years ago. We are well aware that it is about Ukraine's capitulation, and there are no peace talks here," the political scientist emphasized.
According to him, the FSB is conducting special operations with the help of entourages from various circles, including the Pope's circle.
"I think they are now actively working not only with Hungary and Slovakia but also in other Western countries, Germany, France and others. Russian agents continue to work actively, they replace this notion of peace with the fact that Russia wants peace, but we are well aware that this is not what it is about. We are talking about surrender," Victor Shlinchak summarized.
- Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War noted that the Kremlin is using China's calls for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine to force the West to make concessions.
- The Pope said that Ukraine should have the courage to raise the white flag and start negotiations with Russia. The Vatican issued an explanation of what Francis' words mean.
