Swedish volunteer killed in war in Ukraine - media
A volunteer from Sweden has died fighting against the occupying Russian army. He is described as an experienced soldier who had participated in combat for a long time

The Swedish volunteer, who came to Ukraine in 2022, participated in combat missions near Kyiv, in the Bakhmut area, and even within Russian territory.
Described as an experienced soldier, he had been actively involved in defending Ukraine for an extended period.
“We have received information that a Swedish citizen has been killed in Ukraine in recent days. The embassy in Kyiv is investigating this information. A death abroad is one of the most delicate cases the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to deal with,” the Swedish Foreign Ministry said.
- A Georgian soldier, a native of Sukhumi, Viktor Kipritidi, was killed in the Russian war against Ukraine. He used to serve in the Georgian Legion.
