State of emergency declared in Belgorod region, Russia

Gladkov announced the decision on Telegram.

The regional emergency is supposedly aimed at enhancing civilian protection and providing additional support to those affected.

Additionally, Gladkov mentioned plans to request that the Law Commission declare a federal-level emergency.

• Earlier, on August 12, Gladkov initiated the evacuation of residents from the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, citing alleged military activity by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
