Russia's use of North Korean missiles in Ukraine confirmed - Defense Express

Valerii Riabykh, development director of the media and consulting company Defense Express, said that there is evidence that Russia has used missiles made in the DPRK to attack Ukraine

He told about this on Espreso TV

"Our company has received some confirmation that Russia is indeed using DPRK-made missiles to attack the territory of Ukraine. This has already happened twice. One of these missiles fell near Zaporizhzhia, and the other was used in the Kharkiv direction. Now, as far as I understand, it is difficult for experts to establish the exact type of missiles. However, everything suggests that these may be KN-23 missiles," said Riabykh.

According to the expert, the North Korea's KN-23 missile is a rather serious weapon of destruction

"It should be noted that the KN-23 missile is very similar to the Russian Iskander missile. They are identical in terms of parameters and dimensions. The North Koreans were able to master and produce similar missiles very quickly. In fact, the KN-23 is a very serious missile that can carry a 500 kg warhead," he added.
