Situation stable: 3rd Brigade press officer Borodin on defence of positions near Avdiivka
The 3rd Brigade's spokesman Oleksandr Borodin said that the brigade's units have taken up their planned positions near Avdiivka and are successfully holding the line
He shared the information on Espreso TV
"The defence operation near Avdiivka is still ongoing. It is multifaceted and many units are involved. As for the 3rd Brigade, we have indeed taken up planned defensive positions near Avdiivka. We are holding the defence. The enemy is trying to break through this defence and is constantly conducting assault operations. However, it is worth emphasising that the situation at the new positions is stable. Most of the fighters have moved to new positions. Therefore, in general, we can talk about a successful operation, but I would note that this is a multifaceted operation involving various services and units. The General Staff will be reporting on the entire operation," Borodin said.
The spokesperson also emphasised that every unit must work perfectly in the defensive operation in Avdiivka
"The operation in Avdiivka, in which the 3rd Brigade actively participated, is much more complicated than an assault operation. It is a very complex systemic process. Every unit and service has to work in seconds. Because every mistake can cost the lives of soldiers," he added.
