Situation in Pokrovsk direction escalated, but controlled - Ukraine's General Staff

This is according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Since the beginning of the current day, there have been 28 combat clashes at the front. Russian troops fired 472 attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements using various types of weapons. The aggressor also launched two missile strikes with six missiles and 28 strikes using kamikaze drones.

Since the beginning of the day, there have been no active Russian assaults in the Kharkiv direction. Ukrainian defenders continue to strengthen their defenses.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian attacks persist in the Nevske district. The situation remains tense.

In the Lyman direction near Terny, Russian troops' attempt to approach Ukrainian positions failed.

In the Siversk direction, Russian troops made five attempts to breach Ukrainian lines in the Vyimka and Rozdolivka areas. One attack has been repelled; four are ongoing. The situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk direction near Klishchiivka, one Russian attack was repulsed, and the battle near Ivanivske continues. Positions remain secure.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the situation is critical with 11 ongoing clashes in Zelene Pole, Novopokrovsk, Novoselivka Persha, Kalynove, and Nevelske. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are in control. Yesterday, Russian troops lost 400 personnel, including 134 dead. One tank, three IFVs, and seven artillery systems were destroyed. Four armored fighting vehicles, two guns, and a car were damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, there are three ongoing clashes in Paraskoviivka and Vodyane. Ukrainian defenders are monitoring and preventing any loss of positions.

Two Russian advances towards Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka were stopped in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Kherson direction, a Russian attack on the left bank of the Dnipro River near Krynky was repulsed.

In the remaining directions, there have been no significant changes.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Based on detailed information, in the past 24 hours, Russia launched 4 missile strikes, 39 airstrikes with 63 guided bombs, and over 2,500 attacks using various weapons, including 89 MLRS attacks on Ukrainian troops and populated areas. These Russian attacks caused civilian casualties and damaged or destroyed high-rise and private buildings as well as other infrastructure.

Airstrikes hit 11 settlements in the Kharkiv region, and Kharkiv city from Russian airspace, specifically from Sereda, Korocha, and Shebekino in the Belgorod region. Other targets included Lyman, Kostyantynivka, Druzhba, Prohres, Yevhenivka, Karlivka, Oleksandropil, and Kurakhove in the Donetsk region, and Nove Zaporizhzhia, Pyatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force and missile troops, along with artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, targeted 17 Russian personnel concentration areas and other key targets, including two control points and two anti-aircraft vehicles.

• In the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces destroyed dozens of Russian equipment units and 1,270 Russian troops on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
