Russia’s bomber aviation will reach a critical point in 2–2.5 years, expert warns
Ukrainian aviation expert states Russia cannot sustain long-term war due to dwindling bomber aircraft resources and increasing losses
This was stated by Hennady Khazan, president of the Ukrainian Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
The expert responded to alleged Russian statements that they are ready to fight forever.
"To believe the Russians is to stop respecting yourself. We counted how many tanks they produce monthly and how many tanks we destroy monthly. Their imbalance will approach critical numbers by this summer. They are building bomber aviation — but cannot build a single aircraft. And this is an element of the nuclear triad. We systematically destroy them one by one, two by two. We critically damage their warplanes. So how long can they fight?" he said.
Khazan assured that Ukrainian military already has plans for the next year.
"Although it is May now, the military is already thinking about next year — what they will do and how. Russia cannot fight for a long time. I believe the critical moment for aviation will come in 2 to 2.5 years. Their bomber aviation resources are running out. This is one of the elements for launching missiles on Ukraine’s territory. If the resources reach a critical limit, what will Russia do? What they say means nothing," the expert concluded.
