Russian troops test new Molniya drones near front line in Kharkiv region – Kharkiv official
The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that Russian forces are now testing new Molniya drones, which they’re using to attack the region, especially border settlements

He said this in a comment to Novyny Live.
Syniehubov said Ukrainian forces are spotting new types of Russian drones, likely still in the testing phase.
"We believe the enemy is still testing them, because they are launching strikes on the city of Kharkiv. But they’re not massive. Most of the Molniya strikes are hitting settlements near the front line or the border," he said.
He also added that several versions of these drones have already been recorded. This shows active development and adjustment of new strike technologies.
- In the afternoon of April 22, Russian forces launched a large-scale Shahed drone attack on Kharkiv. According to early reports, 12 strikes hit the city. There are casualties.
