Russia launches attacks near Druzhelyubivka, Nevske in Kupyansk direction – Ukraine’s General Staff

This is according to the latest report from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 1 p.m.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

During the past day, there were 98 combat clashes reported. Detailed information indicates that Russia conducted seven missile strikes using 62 missiles, 43 airstrikes employing 48 guided aerial bombs, and fired over 4,000 shots from various weapons, including 110 from MLRS, targeting both military positions and civilian areas.

Since the start of the day, the number of combat clashes has risen to 38, with Russian forces showing continued aggression, particularly in the Pokrovsk area. Ukrainian defense forces are successfully repelling attacks, with ongoing ten skirmishes in multiple directions at this hour.

From Russian territory, Russian troops persist in artillery shelling of settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Today, Russian artillery targeted 10 different villages along the border, including Hremyach, Myropillya, and Bleshnya.

Frontline situation

So far, there has been one attempt by Russian troops to advance near the village of Starytsia in the Kharkiv direction. Russian forces continue bombing border settlements in northern Kharkiv. From Shebekino and Korocha in Belgorod, Russian troops dropped 16 guided bombs on Vovchansk, Staryi Saltiv, Neskuchne, Starytsia, Ivanivka, and Bilyi Kolodyaz.

Russian troops attacked near Druzhelyubivka and Nevske in the Kupyansk direction, increasing assault attempts to four. Fighting continues near Nevske, with Russia using aviation — five bombs were dropped during three airstrikes on Stepova Nevoselivka, Borivske, and Andriivka.

Fighting is ongoing near Rozdolivka and Vyimka in the Siversk direction, with six Russian  attacks today. They launched an airstrike in the Ivano-Daryivka area.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor has tried to improve its tactical position 13 times, with seven attempts repelled by Ukrainian soldiers. The hottest area is around Sokil village in the Donetsk region, with battles in three locations. Ukrainian forces are also repelling attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Umanske, and Yasnobrodivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks today. Fighting continues in the Krasnohorivka area, where Russian forces are trying to push Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Vremivka direction, Russia made two offensive attempts today and continues to advance toward Staromayorske. These attacks were repelled.

In other directions, the situation remains unchanged.
