Russian troops step up efforts to “hunt” Ukrainian drone operators – Ukrainian volunteer
Ukrainian volunteer Yuriy Tanasiychuk says the Russian military has intensified efforts to target Ukrainian drone operators because of how effective Ukrainian UAVs have become
He discussed this in an interview on Espreso TV.
"Today, no matter what technological integrations are applied in modern warfare, ultimately, no one and nothing can replace a human being. The work done by Ukrainian infantry is top-notch worldwide. This includes drone operators and every unit that operates effectively on the battlefield. Humans are the key factor in any war, and this one is no different," explained Tanasiychuk.
The volunteer also shared that due to the significant impact of Ukrainian drones on the front line, Russian forces have intensified their pursuit of UAV operators. He added that the number of areas where UAVs are used almost 100% for logistics has greatly increased.
"Of course, drones have a substantial impact on the battlefield. There are areas where operations are conducted exclusively using drones — both ground and aerial. The impact of UAVs is enormous. This obviously saves the lives of many of our soldiers who work daily on the front line. At the same time, the enemy has significantly increased its hunt for our drone operators. From the information we receive, the number of areas where UAVs are used to deliver munitions, food, and water has grown considerably," he added.
