"The invaders seize the property of Ukrainians who were forced to flee the occupied territories at their own discretion," the Centre notes.
The homes of Ukrainian citizens are being "nationalized": Russian military personnel or Russian civilians who have come to work are moving in.
"Recently, the so-called People's Council of the LPR passed a law that 'regulates' the transfer of apartments that the occupiers like to own into state ownership. They also created a register of such housing. This list includes more than one thousand abandoned apartments," the resistance informs.
Russian occupation forces are carrying out similar actions in Mariupol. There, the Russian authorities issued an "order" for a complete inventory of apartment buildings and private houses, and began to visit the premises. If the Russians do not find the owners, the houses are put on separate lists.
