Russia plans false flag operation at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
Intelligence sources suggest that Russian troops are preparing another false flag operation at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.
The agency highlighted that the provocation is being orchestrated under a false flag, indicating that the Russians are attempting to pin a crime on Ukraine.
"In recent weeks alone, Russia has repeatedly tried to shift the responsibility for the use of drones to attack Zaporizhzhia NPP facilities onto Ukraine. These are deliberate Russian actions that continue the Russian practice of blackmailing Ukraine and the entire international community with the risk of a catastrophe at the ZNPP," the General Staff wrote.
- On April 9, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reported 3 direct hits to the protective structures of the main reactor of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Russia accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces of a "strike."
- On April 9, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on the world to condemn Russia's latest provocations at the ZNPP.
