Russian troops occupy Tarasivka, Donetsk region — DeepState
On the morning of May 2, reports indicated that Russian troops had intensified their activities in the Malynivka - Nova Poltavka - Novooleonivka area in the Donetsk region
DeepState OSINT project reported the information.
“Unfortunately, the enemy managed to occupy Tarasivka. Attempts to restore the situation were unsuccessful, as Russian forces had already brought two infantry companies into the village, taking cover in all available shelters,” the statement said.
The source also reported that Russian troops attempted to enter Novooleonivka but were eliminated. Additionally, groups of Russian troops were spotted in Nova Poltavka, with a significant number of them surrendering.
“Attacks on Malynivka, where fighting is ongoing, are also concerning. The Russians are attempting to gain a foothold in the village and encircle the units of our (Ukrainian - ed.) forces near the junction,” the observers added.
DeepState also reported on the Russian advance near Sukha Balka.
- On April 30, reports indicated that the invading Russian army was attempting to reach the administrative border of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, despite earlier claims of being "ready for a ceasefire" during the May holidays.
