Russian troops attack Kherson region fire department with drone; 4 injured
On Sunday, January 14, Russian forces targeted the Stanislav fire department in Kherson with a kamikaze drone, causing destruction and injuring four firefighters
The drone struck Stanislav at approximately 09:00, damaging a fire truck and causing injuries to four firefighters. They were diagnosed with contusions and brain injuries.
After receiving medical assistance, the injured firefighters opted not to be hospitalized.
During the attack, firefighters were dealing with the aftermath of the previous night's shelling of the Stanislav community, which resulted in damage to 20 private houses and various non-residential structures.
- A day before, Russia launched cruise missiles and Kinzhal missiles in Ukraine, leading to air defense actions in several regions. A resident in the Sumy region was injured, with hits and damage reported in the Dnipro, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions due to falling rocket fragments.
