Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR) has confirmed that the Russian ship Sergey Kotov was destroyed on March 5, 2024, leading to injuries for at least 27 Russian soldiers

"Updated reports indicate that a minimum of 27 crew members aboard the Russian ship Sergey Kotov, which was destroyed near the Kerch Strait, sustained injuries of varying severity," states the official communication.
Seven Russian occupiers lost their lives in the incident.
The intelligence service emphasizes ongoing efforts to specify and confirm the details.
