This was reported on March 10, 2024, by volunteer Serhiy Prytula, whose charitable foundation, as he claims, purchased the UAVs for this operation.
The strike took place on the night of March 9.
"My sources report that one A-50 airborne reconnaissance aircraft, which was located in hangar 66 for modernization, is likely to be critically damaged due to significant damage to the hangar itself. However, there is a possibility that another aircraft was hit," Prytula said.
He also provided a satellite image of the aftermath of the UAV strike on the hangar.
However, the volunteer urged to wait for official confirmation.
