Russia will no longer be able to conduct amphibious operations with such losses in Black See Fleet — military expert

Military expert, co-chairman of the Pravova Sprava NGO, Dmytro Snehyriov, notes the destruction of key amphibious ships paralyzes the Russian Navy and undermines its ability to dominate the Black Sea

He spoke about this on Espreso TV.

"Until the last moment, the entire Russian fleet had 8 large amphibious ships, the destruction of two more, and 6 more remain - this minimizes the military operation of the Russian Federation, namely the amphibious operation on the Ukrainian coast," Snehyriov said.

He also added that this completely destroys the possibility of creating parallel logistics.

"Namely, the transfer of military equipment, supplies, personnel and civilian cargo groups from the rear areas of the Russian Federation to the territory of the occupied Crimea. And this was practiced in case the Ukrainian side neutralizes the Crimean bridge, so if we blow up the Crimean bridge, there is absolutely no possibility of creating parallel logistics, and Crimea is logistically vulnerable," the expert explains.

The co-chairman of the Pravova Sprava NGO emphasized the importance of eliminating the Russian command and control centers and special communications: "This is actually the paralyzation of the remnants of the Black Sea Fleet, the impossibility of, say, even creating a chain of command. For the first time in 200 years, the modern Russian Empire has been deprived of the opportunity to dominate the Black Sea basin."
