Russian forces launch morning attack on Kherson region, resulting in casualties

Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reports.

It is noted that at about 5:40 a.m., militants fired on the Dariivka community of Kherson district. 

A 35-year-old man died as a result of the shelling of Poniativka village. Residential buildings and household outbuildings were also damaged. 

The prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

• In the afternoon of February 25, Russians shelled the village of Tiahynka in Kherson region, killing two civilians.
