Russian forces kidnap people, label them ‘terrorists’ in occupied Zaporizhzhia region
In the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, since the beginning of the year, Russians have added seven Ukrainians to the ‘terrorist list’

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported this.
"All of these men were kidnapped, made confessions under torture, and now they are being tried in the Russian Federation for 'international terrorism,'" he wrote.
Fedorov also notes that people are abducted on the street and put on the "extremist list".
"Residents of Berdyansk and Melitopol have recently witnessed the abduction of men by armed Russian soldiers. The Melitopol resident was taken when he just went out to throw away the garbage," Fedorov wrote.
The whereabouts of dozens of people from the temporarily occupied territories who were captured at the beginning of the full-scale invasion are still unknown. There are men and women of all ages and occupations in captivity.
- On February 12, the National Resistance Center reported that the Russians were planning to conduct house-to-house visits in the temporarily occupied territories on February 17 regarding the upcoming sham elections.
- On February 13, a couple who had been abused by the invading Russian troops managed to leave the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region on the third attempt.
- On February 13, media reported that in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians were holding meetings with local farmers and demanding that they register their businesses under Russian law.
