Russian drone and missile attacks trap civilians in Zaporizhzhia region

Explosions in Zaporizhzhia
At 4:15 a.m., Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that explosions were heard in the region. Before that, he had warned of the threat of guided aerial bombs.
At 6:18 a.m., Fedorov said that Russian troops had conducted several air strikes on the region.
“Russia struck residential areas in the Zaporizhzhia and Vasylivka districts. Two people are trapped in an apartment building. A rescue operation is underway. The extent of the destruction is being assessed,” he wrote.
Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote that people were blocked in Stepnohirsk.
“Emergency workers rescued the people. Fortunately, they did not need medical assistance,” Fedorov added.
Air defense in the Kyiv region
At 12:07 a.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that drones were detected in the region's airspace. Air defense systems were engaging enemy targets.
At 2:07 a.m., Suspilne reported explosions, likely outside Kyiv.
At 3:38 a.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration again informed about air defense activity in the region.
At 7:11 a.m., the Kyiv City Military Administration reported a drone threat to the capital.
Explosions in Poltava and near Cherkasy
At 12:51 a.m., Suspilne informed that an explosion was heard in Poltava.
At 7:54 a.m., Suspilne reported the sound of an explosion near Cherkasy.
