Russian command sends soldiers on 'meat assaults' in Kherson to secure Dnipro islands
The command of Russia's 80th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is sacrificing its personnel in meat-grinder assaults on the islands of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region
The Atesh guerrilla movement reported the information.
The coordinator of the movement was contacted by Russian servicemen from the 80th Arctic Brigade, who reported that the command continues to issue senseless orders, trying to secure the Dnipro islands at any cost, disregarding the personnel.
"Recent assaults have once again ended in failure. According to our people from the 3rd Battalion of the 80th Brigade, losses in the recent assaults near the Holubov Lyman island amounted to 26 killed and over 20 wounded," the message states.
In underground circles, it is said that such actions by the command are driving the soldiers to despair: the mass reluctance to follow orders is growing daily, unprepared personnel are being sent on assaults without necessary training and support, the dead are not evacuated, and the wounded do not receive timely medical assistance, further increasing panic among the soldiers, with morale plummeting rapidly.
- On March 29, resistance movement members destroyed a Russian army truck equipped with an electronic warfare (EW) system in the Kherson region.
