Russian drone strike kills one in Kherson, hits cities across Ukraine

Kyiv
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported on the work of the air defense forces in the city.
Sumy
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported that in the morning, the Russian aggressor attacked a civilian infrastructure facility in the Zarichnyi district of the city.
“There is damage, particularly in the residential sector. There are also partial power outages. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” he added.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration specified that as a result of the Russian attack, windows were damaged in three 10-story buildings, several non-residential premises, and a city trolleybus.
Kherson
The Kherson City Council reported that Russian forces shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson last night.
Police officers took three wounded people to the hospital.
The women, aged 51, 18, and 69, suffered concussions, mine-blast injuries, and closed head injuries.
Poltava region
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russians attacked the Poltava region with strike drones last night.
“The strikes on civilian infrastructure caused fires in administrative buildings and damaged a residential building and a farm building,” the report said.
Sixteen pieces of equipment, 64 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, and a Ukrzaliznytsia fire train were involved in the operation.
The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, specified that the Russian attack damaged an administrative building, storage facilities, and rolling stock of the railway infrastructure.
An energy facility was also damaged. Twenty-eight legal entities and 1,070 residential consumers were left without electricity.
Kharkiv
At 10:35 p.m., Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, reported explosions in the city.
According to preliminary information, the Industrial District of Kharkiv was hit.
At 10:48 p.m., he noted that a fire had broken out in the Nemyshlyanskyi District of Kharkiv.
Medical personnel are heading to the site of the Russian attack.
Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov added that in 20 minutes, about two dozen explosions were heard in the city and several fires broke out.
“No information about casualties has been received yet. A group of enemy combat drones is still approaching the city — be careful!” the mayor urged.
At 11:50 p.m., Terekhov clarified that, according to information from the Situation Center, the enemy had launched 25 combat drone strikes on Kharkiv that night. All of them were in the Nemyshlyanskyi district.
