The Russian media of Astra reported this on its Telegram channel.
"A FAB-500 was discovered in the area of Bessonovka village on March 27th. Sources report that the munition was destroyed today. There are no casualties or damages," the publication wrote.
Over the past week, 9 FABs have been reported to have fallen in the Belgorod region of Russia.
The FAB-500 is a 500-kilogram general-purpose aviation bomb developed in the USSR, equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead, primarily used by the Russian Air Force. The original model, M-54, was released in 1954. The bomb is unguided, with a single nose fuse, and compatible with most models of Soviet aircraft.
