Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, reports.

By 2:30 p.m., the number of victims had increased to nine. A 46-year-old woman received treatment on the scene and is reported to be in satisfactory condition.

In addition, over 230 cars were damaged by the blast wave and debris in Kryvyi Rih. Rescuers successfully prevented the damaged vehicles from catching fire. Service stations, administrative buildings, and a vocational school also suffered damage.

Earlier, Lysak reported eight victims. In addition to the five previously reported, two more people - a 64-year-old man and a 29-year-old man - were hospitalized. An 18-year-old boy will receive outpatient treatment.

“A garage cooperative in the city was damaged, along with 12 cars. Windows in a hotel were also smashed,” wrote Lysak.

At 11:41 a.m., Lysak reported five victims.

“Five people were injured in Kryvyi Rih. Four men - 29, 41, 44 and 60 years old. They have shrapnel wounds, bruises, and acupuncture injuries. All are in moderate condition in the hospital,” he wrote.

“Among the victims is a 54-year-old woman. She will recover at home,” the official added.

In turn, the city's defense head, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that the attack damaged many high-rise buildings.

“A city headquarters has been set up to help people from the affected buildings. The address is 36a Heroiv Pidpilnykiv Street (school No. 17). We will provide assistance with building materials, OSB film, nails and more. If necessary, we will provide assistance in resettlement, medical and psychological,” he wrote.

Earlier, Vilkul reported four victims.

“A missile hit a civilian infrastructure facility. Ambulances have already taken four people to the hospital. All emergency and utility services are working,” he wrote.

At 10:48 a.m., Vilkul reported the explosion and urged the townspeople not to film or post anything on the Internet. In turn, Lysak reported three victims.

“When Kryvyi Rih is in mourning, the enemy attacks again. And once again they are targeting civilians. So far, we know about 3 victims,” he wrote.

“The city's infrastructure and cars were damaged. There was also a fire,” the official added.

  • Three people were killed and another person is missing following a missile attack by the occupying Russian army on Kryvyi Rih on the night of August 27.
  • As of the morning of August 28, the rubble at the arrival site had been cleared. The shelling killed 4 people. A day of mourning was declared in the city.
