Russia will not redeploy reserves from Avdiivka to Ukraine's south — military expert Zgurets

Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that the Russian military forces will not move reserves from the Avdiivka sector to other parts of the frontline.

He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV channel

"I think that the invaders will now spend some time to stabilize and restore forces in Avdiivka. Also, the occupiers will partially try to put pressure on the front line near Avdiivka. In particular, from Stepove to Sieverne. The fighting around Novomykhailivka is also likely to intensify. These settlements are located near Avdiivka and the enemy will try to align the front," explained Zgurets.

The analyst is convinced that the Russian troops will not redeploy their reserves from Avdiivka to other areas.

"It is not a very long distance from Avdiivka to Bakhmut. Therefore, I think that the enemy's attempts to advance to Chasiv Yar will be the third component in this section of the front. I do not think that the Russians will now move the accumulated forces from the Avdiivka direction to the south. It seems irrational," he added.
