This information was shared by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, during a broadcast on the "United News" telethon.
He reported that Sumy faces daily assaults, with around 30 KABs and 40 FPV drones causing significant damage to border communities and the regional center.
In particular, Krasnopil saw 8 KABs deployed in November, resulting in injuries to six people. Russian attacks have also destroyed a school, kindergarten, residential buildings, and shops in the area.
"We're proposing to bring the issue of evacuating the Krasnopil community to the Defense Council. Protecting the lives of thousands of residents, including children, is our priority," Artyukh stated.
- On November 10, Russian forces shelled the Sumy border area with artillery, killing one man and seriously injuring a woman.
