Death toll rises to three in Russian strike on Ukraine's Kryvyi Rih
Russian attack on the district police department in Kryvyi Rih on September 27, resulted in the deaths of three people and left six others injured
Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that two more bodies - a man and a woman - were pulled from the rubble of an administrative building, bringing the total of dead from the morning strike to three.
As of 4:22 p.m., he confirmed that six people had been reported injured.
Earlier, Lysak reported that the body of a woman had been found beneath the debris of the administrative building.
“The body of a woman was found under the rubble of an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih. Thus, according to the information available now, the Russians killed one person in the city this morning. Five people were wounded. Search operations are ongoing,” noted the head of the Regional Military Administration.
According to him, in addition to the administrative building, 23 private houses, three nine-story buildings and an educational institution were damaged.
“More than eight dozen cars were damaged. Eight of them are official vehicles,” said Lysak.
Earlier, the National Police of Ukraine reported that around 9:15 a.m. Russian troops launched a missile attack on the district police department in Kryvyi Rih. There are victims as a result of the attack. There may be people under the rubble.
An administrative building was destroyed as a result of the hit. Private houses located nearby were also damaged.
“Police and rescuers are now working at the scene, law enforcement officers are documenting and collecting evidence of another war crime of the Russian Federation,” the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as of 10:20 a.m., three people were reported injured.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, a 45-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition.
At 11:03 a.m., Lysak reported that there were four injured men in Kryvyi Rih. Two of them are hospitalized in moderate condition. According to him, the fate of four people remains unknown.

“The enemy hit the administrative building. There may be people under the rubble,” he wrote on Telegram.
At 9:19 a.m., the mayor of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported a Russian missile attack on the city and later added that there was a risk of repeated ballistic missile attacks.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that a pre-trial investigation had been initiated in a criminal proceeding over violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the prosecutor's office, as of 11:28 a.m., two men were injured in the attack and hospitalized. The building of the district police department, residential buildings, and cars were damaged.
Rescue operations are ongoing. Information about the victims will be updated.
