Russia strikes Cherkasy with drones, Mykolaiv with missiles on Apr. 21
Late on Monday night, April 21, Russian troops launched attack drones to strike Ukraine. By morning, reports emerged of an attack on the Cherkasy region and a missile strike on Mykolaiv

Attack on Cherkasy region
According to the Regional Military Administration, the region came under attack by Russian strike drones at dawn. Thanks to the Ukrainian defenders, there were no casualties. Air defense forces destroyed 8 Russian UAVs over the region.
However, as a result of the Russian attack, an infrastructure facility was damaged.
The administration added that there have been no reports from residents about property damage so far.
Missile attack on Mykolaiv
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported that around 04:57 a.m. on April 21, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the city.
The type of weaponry is currently being identified. There were no casualties or damage.
