Russia charges 14 foreign journalists for illegal border crossings
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that it has launched criminal cases against 14 foreign journalists since August 17 for illegally crossing the border from Ukraine into Russia's Kursk region

The FSB said the latest journalists under investigation are from France 24 and Switzerland’s CH Media.
The charges follow Ukraine's surprise attack in August, when it seized territory around Sudzha, marking the first Ukrainian capture of Russian land since the war began.
According to Russian law, illegal border crossings can result in up to five years in prison.
