Russia ramps up attacks near Kupiansk, along Dnipropetrovsk region border

Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Dnipro operational-strategic group of forces, stated this during the national telethon.

According to him, in the Kupiansk sector there is heavy pressure along the entire front line — the Russian army is bringing up reinforcements and trying to use the last month of summer for active offensive operations.

A similar situation is observed in the Novopavlivka sector — particularly near the administrative boundary with Dnipropetrovsk region — where Russian attempts to break through have so far failed, but the attacks continue.

Trehubov summarized that overall, across the entire area of responsibility of the Dnipro operational-strategic troop grouping, Russian forces are acting as actively as possible, “pushing in as if it were the last moment.”
