Russia plans to expand agent influence in Ukraine’s neighboring countries
Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has been instructed to increase the number of influence agents in Ukraine's neighboring countries, particularly targeting Moldova's political processes
This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.
"Russian agents have been tasked with growing the number of influence agents in Ukraine's neighboring countries to politically impact and block necessary logistics for Ukraine," he wrote.
Kovalenko explained that in this way, the Kremlin aims to intensify interference in the foreign policies of European Union and NATO countries.
"This is the direct state policy of Russia for the coming years," emphasized the head of the agency.
According to him, Russia aims to intervene in political processes in Moldova.
Earlier, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Technologies of Poland, Krzysztof Gawkowski, stated that the country faces an unprecedented attempt by Russia to interfere in the presidential elections.
