Russia offers residents 100,000 rubles for false testimony on alleged Ukrainian war crimes in occupied Luhansk region

Artem Lysohor, the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, has reported this development.

"Residents who stayed in the areas devastated by the Russians in Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk are being offered up to 100,000 rubles for providing written testimony alleging war crimes committed by Ukrainians," he stated.

According to the Regional State Administration head, to receive payment, individuals must claim that the settlements they live in, which have been under siege by Russian troops for several months, and the individuals themselves, were specifically targeted by shelling from Ukraine.

Lysohor also mentioned that Russian representatives in Lysychansk have begun compiling lists of unoccupied apartments. Local collaborators intend to "nationalize" this housing, as they call it, with Russians being given priority for potential ownership.
